Maybe the last 2-3 years of digging up the main drag has somethign to do with it? pay-for-parking in the too few parking places.. Maybe since is it a 'colledge town' that the street gets a bit rowdy at night.. Maybe since the exit off the 20 seems to dump you into small narrow streets that don't seem to go anywhere.. Or maybe because it's in the transition period, between summer & winter..

Personally, I see Ste. Annes is in a bit of a time bubble.. no major building, or re-organizing the town / houses on top of each other, all half-hazardly placed.. Continue the bike path, so you're not stuck sharing the road with that Ford F-350..

Make Lakeshore one way. Make a [better] circular route, so you don't seem to get lost, get put onto the highway or into Senneville.. Make parking a little easier. Put a sign up or two, to help 'out of towners' get around.. (Some of the streets wind & stop, making you wonder if you are going the right way..) they all seem to be alley ways!

I have a few freinds in Ste. Annes, and go to John Abbot part time.. I'm in Ste. Annes regularly. I've seen the town go thru changes for past 30 odd years.. Hate driving in it, narrow streets. Parking is a PITA..
