After being rained out and rained on, Repercussion Theatre is hoping the stars will shine brightly for their remaining performances in the West Island this week.
“I’ve been looking at Environment Canada’s website every hour,” said Pamela Daoust, communications director for the outdoor theatre troop.
“People come with a blanket and a bottle of wine but often the ground is too soggy to sit on,” Daoust said, adding that lawn chairs can be rented for $5.
In its 20th year, the bilingual theatre company is performing Shakespeare’s The Tempest in parks across Montreal this summer. All performances are free.
Upcoming performances in the West Island:
Friday, Aug. 8: Senneville Park, Senneville, 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Aug. 12: Ecclestone Park, Kirkland, 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 13: (in French) Ecclestone Park, Kirkland, 7 p.m.
