What a wonderful experience.
Australia is an exotic and intriguing continent to visit. This country has dry, red-desert and dunes as well as lush coastal rainforests rich with unique wildlife found nowhere else on the planet.

You name it, Australia has it.

Australia's population is 22 million. The modern Australia is a little more than two centuries old. But, its history stretches back tens of thousands of years. At one time, there were a million aborgines, but today this number has dwindled to less than 300,000.

Nearly 200,000 English convicts, including some hardened criminals, were also settled here.

Tourism plays a big role in Australia and continous efforts are under way to attract them from all over the world.

Among the main attractions are the world-famous Great Barrier Reef, which extends for more than 2,000 kilometres. Kangaroos roam in the wild and the cuddly koalas are on the endangered list. Sydney Harbour is one of the most beautiful waterways in the world. It is linked with the Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. Ayer's Rock or Uluru, the world's largest monolith, offers an awe-inspiring sight.

No country in the world stirs quite like Australia. Visit to Oz is a whole new experience.
