Baie d'Urfe's Summer Bandstand Concerts program will continue at 7.30 pm on Thursday July 3 with the Lakeshore Concert Band at the Bandstand in Fritz Park which is on the Lakeshore Road just West of Morgan.
TRAVEL NOTE:If you come on the highway take the Morgan Road South exit off Route 20.You will be able to park on the grass near the Bandstand.Do NOT take Route 40 and the Morgan Rd North exit-they do not connect).
Kids of all ages will enjoy their "March around the Bandstand".
Bring a comfortable chair,maybe a picnic and watch the sailboats racing on the Lake while the band plays.A sweater is a good idea since it gets cool later on by the water.
There are toilets in the Library Building beside the park.
If it's wet the concert will be at the same time in the Red Barn,just 300m further West along Lakeshore,and then you can park at the Curling Club around the corner off Churchill.
COMING EVENTS:Next week the Blue Monkey Project band,and in the following weeks:Harmonie de Lachine;the Big Band Club;the Hudson Big Swing Band;and the Air Force Association Maple Leaf Wing Concert Band with Pipes and Drums.
