AUDITIONS - DESTINATION: BROADWAY

Open Audition Call for WISTA’s “Destination: Broadway!” for students between the ages of 17 and 25 on Sunday, October 26th and November 2nd from7:00 – 10:00 pm

The next WISTA production, Destination: Broadway!, will take place on Friday, January 16th and Saturday, January 17th, 2009. It will be a production featuring music from contemporary musicals.

The auditions are open to any student performer(s) between the ages of 17 and 25 but a limited number of production pieces demands that we hold auditions so that the quality of the performances is the best.

Please come prepared to sing any legitimate Broadway musical theatre song of your choice that demonstrates your vocal ability and range. You must provide your own pre-recorded music on CD if you wish to be accompanied or you may sing a cappella. You may also be asked to sing a song of the choice of the producers from those that will be part of the repertoire of the show.

The production will be directed by Charles McNeil and will involve singing, dancing and staging to pre-selected music. Performers will be chosen on the basis of their abilities.
