The Beaurepaire-Beaconsfield Historical Society hosts its next meeting Thursday, April 17, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Guest speaker Patrick Campbell of the Canadian Aviation Heritage Centre www.cahc-ccpa.com will talk about "Under the Banyan - the storied history of aviation in Montreal and the West Island." He will be followed by Jean-Louis Denis, Aviation World Record Holder, and member of the board of directors of Aviation2010, www.aviation2010.ca talking about "The History of the RCAF in Quebec" and his legacy project for a Canadian Aviation & Aerospace National Conservation Centre in Greater Montreal.
The evening will showcase a fashion show of TCA stewardess uniforms as well as a display of aviation books and memorabilia.
