50th Anniversary Celebration! On Feb.16, 1963, with all the pomp and ceremony befitting the occasion, the Pointe-Claire Cultural Centre, Stewart Hall, was officially inaugurated by Governor General Georges Vanier and many dignitaries. Stewart Hall has set the standard of excellence for cultural programs, concerts, and exhibitions for the past 50 years.
In honour of Stewart Hall’s 50th anniversary, various activities have been organized to help everyone relive the spirit of the last 50 years. Please join us for the “Techniques in Transformation” vernissage, and activities for the whole family: Ceramic Café with the Claycrafters Pottery Studio, Weaving Café with the Lakeshore Weavers Guild, and photo time machine with the Lakeshore Camera Club. Come celebrate with us!
