Police are asking for the public's help in solving a murder in
Lachine.
Francis "Frank" Gallant-Raymond's body was found by a passing
motorist April 16 at 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of St. Antoine
and George V Sts. in Lachine. The 24-year-old man had been shot.
"His body was found by a motorist who did not know him ... and the
investigation has not found any witnesses, nor anyone who could help
the investigation," according to a press release sent from Station
8.
"Investigators in the major crimes division and the family of the
victim are asking the public for assistance in obtaining information
that could help the investigation into the murder," the press
release stated.
Police said the homicide may be linked to a drug deal.
