Don't be conned by bogus handymen

Station #1

Beware the odd job man who asks for money up front.

That is the warning from police this week after a Baie d'Urfé woman
was robbed of $150 last Wednesday.

A handyman showed up at her door offering to do odd jobs. He asked
for the money and said he was going to buy supplies. He never
returned.

Police in several areas of the West Island have issued the same
warning recently.
