Arrests imminent in vandalism of eight cars

Station #1

Police have identified two suspects in the vandalism of eight vehicles, five of which were on John Abbott College property.
“The suspects  have yet to be arrested but we are expecting arrests in the near future,” Montreal Police Constable J.P. Levis said Tuesday adding that the vandalism took place during the night of Oct. 23 to 24.
Levis said the damage to the cars –  three were parked near the Ste. Anne de Bellevue cegep –  was serious.
“We’re talking about heavy objects thrown through windows and two had their spoilers ripped off,” he said adding that the two males were identified through security cameras.
Levis said he did not have information regarding the owners of the damaged vehicles or the monetary extent of the damage.
