Garbage can fire quickly extinguished

Police and firefighters were called to a park a the corner of Terry Fox Park last week due to a fire that was apparently deliberately set in a garbage can.
Montreal Police Constable Leslie Potts said the call about a suspicious fire came just after midnight on Oct. 28.
Firefighters put out the fire and police searched the area but did not spot anyone, said Potts adding that damages to the garbage can were minimal.
