Two break-ins on same street in one day

Someone broke into two homes on Gouin Blvd. on Nov. 18
Some time between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., someone forced open the basement window, breaking through metal bars, and ransacked the master bedroom, making off with various items including purses, wallets and electronics, said Montreal Police Constable Daniel Maheu.
That same day, another home on the street was broken into, again through a basement window.
Again, the master bedroom was ransacked and similar items stolen. Police are unable to say if the same person broke into both homes.
