Burglar breaks through café wall

A burglar broke into a café on Provost St. last week in order to break through a wall leading to the dépanneur next door.
“An individual broke into the café and then proceeded to break through the wall that was shared with the dépanneur,” Montreal Police Constable Martin Desmarais said, adding that the crime took place during the night of April 4 when both establishments were closed.
Desmarais said the burglar stole thousands of dollars worth of cigarettes, cash and lottery tickets.
