Students robbed outside Côte Vertu métro

Two students were robbed and assaulted outside the Côte Vertu métro station around midnight on April 15.
The male and female victims, both 17, were waiting at a bus shelter on Edouard Laurin Blvd. when they were approached by a Latino man who was whistling. The man told the female student to stay calm and pulled out a black pistol, put it against the stomach of the male student. In French, he said: “Give me your money.”
The student produced a handful of change and said: “That’s all I’ve got.”
The suspect pistol whipped the male in the head, grabbed the change, took the female student’s purse and ran off.
