West Island Chamber of Commerce elects board members

A new board of directors was elected at the West Island Chamber of Commerce’s annual general meeting October 22, proving once again that the organization’s members are its greatest asset.

Elected are: Éric Léouzon (Maestro Communications), president; Joanne Photiades (Business Development Bank of Canada), chairman of the board; vice-presidents Mark Hanna (Leeza), Jean-René Paquette (Miljours Paquette Attorneys) and Antoinette Scarano (Lester B. Pearson School Board); and treasurer Gavin Correa (Litwin Correa Chartered Accountants).

The West Island business organization’s membership of close to 1,000 members hails from a variety of industries. At the meeting held at the Sheraton Montreal Airport, members were reminded that by availing themselves of the group’s networking possibilities, they strengthen the local business base.
