Traffic flow hiccup in vicinity of Dorval interchange

Roadwork in the vicinity of the Dorval interchange will affect traffic flow for the long term, effective immediately.

The work paves the way for the construction of new pavement on westbound Highway 520 and the construction of new access roads linking Highway 520 to the airport.

Night closing:

*Complete closure of Highway 520, westbound,  between Exit #1 (direction Aéroport P.E. Trudeau/Av. Cardinal) and Highway 20, from 10:30 p.m., Nov. 2, to 7:30 a.m., Nov. 3.

Detour: To access Highway 20, take 55th Ave., southbound. The road from the airport to Highway 20 will remain open during the night work.

Long-term closings:

*Complete closure of a portion of Highway 520, eastbound, between the Michel-Jasmin Ave. exit (the first exit coming from Highway 20) and the next highway entrance, until Aug., 2013.

Detour: Take Michel-Jasmin Ave.

The entrance to the airport, coming from Highway 20 via Highway 520, will remain open during the work, but it is recommended that travellers leave earlier than usual to get to the airport on time.

*One of two lanes will be closed on the portion of westbound Highway 520, between Exit #1 (direction Aéroport P.E. Trudeau/Av. Cardinal) and Highway 20, from Nov. 3 until the end of Dec., 2012.

*Complete closure of the westbound Highway 520 entrance at Marshall Ave., effective immediately.

Detour: Drivers can access westbound Highway 520 via the entrance near 43rd Ave. Detour via Michel-Jasmin Ave., eastbound, and 55th Ave., southbound, to access Highway 20 and Dorval Ave.
