Two fights in Lachine overnight on Halloween put two men in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The first incident took place at 1500 Duff Court at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday where a 30-year-old-man was hit in the head with a sharp object by another man he knew. The suspect has not been caught and the victim is not being cooperative with police, said Montreal spokesperson Anie Lemieux.
The second incident took place at 2:15 a.m. Thursday at 2730 Louis Paré St., where three men had been drinking together. A fight broke out and two of the men attacked the third, punching him in the face and stabbing him in the back. The victim, 46, was transported to hospital and the two alleged assailants, age 28 and 23, were taken to the investigation centre to be questioned. All were intoxicated, said Lemieux.
