Author Sheila Kindellan-Sheehan will be at Chapters Pointe-Claire on Saturday, Nov. 17, to sign copies of her latest novel The Red Floor, a fast-paced mystery that  tells the story of a rich Montreal family whose lives are scrutinized when the 8-year-old heir to the family fortune drowns in the backyard pool.

The investigation into the incident intensifies when the boy’s mother accuses her estranged husband not of negligence, but murder.

A Pointe-Claire resident, Kindellan-Sheehan is the author of six novels, including three best-sellers. She will be at Chapters from noon to 4 p.m. Nov. 17.

Chapters Pointe-Claire is located on the Trans-Canada Highway at St. Jean Blvd., near the Toys ‘R’ Us.
