The West Island Student Theatre Association (WISTA) presents Legally Blonde The Musical at Lindsay Place High School, 111 Broadview Ave. in Pointe Claire, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.

The musical is based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the 2001 movie starring Reese Witherspoon. It tells the story of an attractive blonde who enrols in Harvard Law School to get her boyfriend back and discovers she has a knack for the business. The Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin musical opened on Broadway in 2007 and in London’s West End in 2009.

WISTA is a musical-theatre company comprised of post-secondary students.
