Police are investigating an armed robbery after an armed female suspect burst into a Dorval south dépanneur and demanded the cashier hand over the money in the till.
The incident took place February 14 at about 8:30 p.m., said Montreal police community relations officer Hélène Jubinville at Station 5 in Pointe Claire. She said she could not name the dépanneur.
Jubinville said the suspect stuffed the money into a grey- and black-coloured lunch bag and, ran out of the store into a waiting vehicle. She was carrying an unidentified weapon.
The suspect was described as English-speaking, with dark hair and an olive complexion. She was wearing a hoodie.
