Night closure of portions of westbound Highway 40 Thursday through Sunday

Transport Québec has announced the complete closure of westbound Highway 40 between exit 50 at St. Charles Blvd. in Kirkland to the entrance from Blvd. des Anciens-Combattants in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, during the overnight periods from Thursday, Oct. 10, through till Sunday, Oct. 13.

 

The closures will affect westbound traffic from midnight on Thursday evening, Oct. 10, till 5 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, then again overnight Friday, from 1 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, and again on overnight Saturday, from midnight to 9 a.m. Sunday.

Traffic will be rerouted along Blvd. des Anciens-Combattants and St. Charles Blvd. to Highway 20.

 

The westbound lanes are being rebuilt. The $49.3 million makeover is being done in stages, with this first phase scheduled to wrap up mid-November and the second stage scheduled for April to November 2014.
