Police net three in snowmobile operation

Station #3

Police from Station 3 issued three tickets Sunday during a police snowmobile operation in Ile Bizard.

In all, said Montreal Police Constable Daniel Maheu, 64 snowmobiles were stopped. Of those, one ticket was issued because the person at the helm of the vehicle was under the 16-year-old minimum age. Two tickets were issued because the drivers took to the streets rather than staying on designated trails.
