Students at United Talmud Torahs celebrate Rosh Hashanah

United Talmud Torahs Beutel Campus principal, Michelle Toledano, encourages her students Avi Malka and Nomi Rubin as they learn about the Rosh Hashanah and experience the blowing of the shofar. The shofar is blown 100 times over the holiday to signify the Jewish new year. The holiday begins at sundown on Sept. 29.
