Lady Cheetahs keep cage winning streak alive

The Vanier Lady Cheetahs keep on winning.

The Lady Cheetahs won their eighth consecutive CEGEP Triple-A basketball game Friday, defeating Édouard-Montpetit 81-54 at the Vanier Sports Complex in St. Laurent. The win improved Vanier’s third-place record to 11-3.

Natasha Raposo led the Vanier attack with 16 points, while Cassandra Doughlin added 15 points.

Also reaching double figures were Katie Eveleigh and Andrea Baptista, with 11 points apiece, and Mathilde Larochelle and Liane Bailey with 10 each.

The Lady Cheetahs play host to the Montmorency Nomades on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
