Dollard synchro takes two silvers

Dollard synchro teams won a handful of medals at the pre-provincial competition held at the Dollard Civic Centre pool on the weekend.

The Dollard junior team, coached by Lyne Piché, fared well, winning a pair of silvers.

Members of the Dollard junior team, ages 15 to 17, are Marike Alexander, Janelle Ball, Meagan Butters, Lia Ciarallo, Andreanne Cormier, Rachel Frechette, Kelly Hersh, Madi Hersh, Katie MacLeod and Haley Ricci.

The Dollard team also donated a portion of their proceeds from the sale of sweatshirts to the Haitian relief effort
