The Lac St. Louis peewee Selects captured the 29th annual Cornwall Girls Hockey Tournament last week.
The peewee Selects defeated the Ottawa Ice 3-0 in the finals.
The Selects, coached by Tom Handfield, reached the finals after a thrilling 1-0 shootout win in the semifinals against the Clarence Rockland Lightning.
Members of the winning team are Sabrina Angelov, Emma Beisswanger, Marie-Pier Crete, Kayla Dorion, Eva Durandeau, Laurie Hachez, Madison Handfield, Nicole Handfield, Elisabeth Laflamme, Marisa Lombardi, Danielle MacIntyre, Lauren McDonald, Kyla Morris, Hyla Mosher and Kaitlyn Scrimgeour.
Assisting Handfield with the coaching duties are Dave McIntyre, Alexandra Robertson and Ryan Handfield.
