The John Abbott Lady Islanders fell 61-29 to the Dawson Blues in CEGEP women’s basketball action on Friday.

Rookies Felisha Dumas (10 rebounds) and Meagan Delany (eight rebounds and six points) shone for the Lady Islanders.

On Sunday, the Lady Islanders (1-4) got in the win column with a 55-46 over Arsenal of College Nouvelles-Frontières.

Joy Bermillo was top scorer for the Lady Isles with 13 points, followed by Alison Walford with 10.
