Three of the best synchro swimmers in Canada come from the West Island.

Camille Bowness, from Beaconsfield; Katie McLeod, from Pointe Claire; and Janelle Ball, from Dollard des Ormeaux count among the 15 Quebecers on the 23-member Synchro Canada Senior National Team which trains in Montreal.

The swimmers are gearing up for two important international competitions in the coming weeks and Montrealers can get a sneak peak at their competition routines when they perform with singer Félix Leroux at the Aquatic Complex on Jean-Drapeau Island in Montreal on June 24.

The entrance to the pool is near the Jean-Drapeau métro station. Gates open at noon and the show begins at 12:30 p.m. An autograph session follows at 2 p.m.

Tickets cost $12 or $7 for children 12 and under. $1 from every ticket sold goes to the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation. Tickets are available at the door, or you can email patrick@synchro.ca to reserve.
