Abbott foundation stages golf tournament

The John Abbott College Foundation will hold its annual golf
tournament on June 4 at the Summerlea Golf and Country Club in
Vaudreuil-Dorion.

With all foursomes filled, organizers are confident of reaching the
fundraising objective of $65,000.

"We are delighted that the tournament has already received such
outstanding support," said Lucie Fournier, director of the JAC
Foundation.

Golfers will also compete in a putting contest and a hole-in-one
competition for a prize of $10,000, courtesy of Coca-Cola.

Established in 1999, the Foundation provides support for key
college projects.
