Beaconsfield swimmer takes gold, silver

Laura Brown of Beaconsfield won a gold and a silver medal at
the Junior Provincial Diving Championships held in Quebec City last
weekend.

Brown, a member of the CAMO club in Montreal, took first place in
the three-metre springboard event in the girls E category (9-and
under).

Lindsay Leonard of Pointe Claire won the silver, while Jeanne
Ménard of CAMO took the bronze.

In the one-metre event, Ménard captured gold, while Brown took home
the silver.

Leonard won the bronze.
