Former Vanier cager invited to national camp

Former Vanier basketball star Damian Buckley has been invited to the Canadian senior men’s team training camp next week in Toronto.
The Concordia Stingers point guard joins a Canadian team, under head coach Leo Rautins, preparing for a run at Olympic qualification.
Buckley was named Concordia’s Male Athlete of the Year in 2008 after averaging 20.9 points per game. He also collected 93 assists and 35 steals in 16 games.
Buckley was a Quebec Conference First Team All-Star and a Second Team All-Canadian.
